Brazil football
Brazil are the most successful national soccer side in the history of the World Cup, with five Winnerships in the years 1958, 1962, 1970, 1994, 2002. A frequent phrase about football is: "The English invented it, the Brazilians perfected it." Brazil is generally thought to be the mopst powerful football nation in the world and is the only nation to have played in every World Cup. They have appeared in many finals also, including losing the 1998 final to France and have been a presence in world football. They most recently reached the quarter finals of the 2006 world cup. They have created great players over the years, including Pele, Zico, Careca, Romario, Ronaldo and Kaka.
