Euro 76 – great players

Dieter Muller – West Germany

Euro 76 would certainly not be the same without featuring German striker Dieter Muller. He scored three times in the Germans 4-2 victory against Yugoslavia. He also scored in the final which they lost to Czechoslovakia. He was the tournaments top scorer with 4 goals. Despite his great performances they failed to beat Czechoslovakia in the 1976 European championships final.

Dragan Džajić - Yugoslavia
Dzajic is arguably one of Yugoslavia’s greatest ever players. He was capped on 85 occasions for his nation tallying 23 goals for his country. He was a key member of their 1976 European Championships side, scoring two goals for them. He played his club football with Red Star Belgrade, with whom he scored 108 goals with.
